Fixing Instructions

We recommend using a strong "no nails" panel adhesive to fix your panels directly to the wall. For extra support, such as when fitting panels to a ceiling, we'd also recommend reinforcing with black matt-coated 30mm screws.

These acoustic panels can be fixed to a range of surfaces, including plasterboard, brick, lath and plaster, tiles, and plywood. The key requirement is that the underlying surface is in good condition, with no underlying moisture, large cracks, dust, or damage. We don't recommend fitting these panels near a direct heat source, such as a fireplace, or anywhere they'll come into regular contact with water or moisture.

4. Will the 9mm slat thickness feel noticeably different to touch than a standard 12mm slat?
Not significantly, the felt backing and overall panel depth stay broadly consistent across finishes, the slight thickness variation between finishes comes down to manufacturing tolerance on the veneer rather than a difference you'd feel day to day.

5. Does the veneer wrap make the slats more fragile at the edges?
No, the wrap is bonded as part of the manufacturing process rather than applied loosely afterwards, so the edges hold up to normal handling and installation in the same way as the front face.
