Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between ball bearing and undermount runners?
Ball bearing runners mount to the side of the drawer and cabinet — they're easy to fit and widely compatible. Undermount runners sit beneath the drawer and are hidden from view, giving a cleaner, more premium look. Both types we stock include soft close.
What weight can these drawer runners hold?
Our standard ball bearing runners hold up to 25kg. D-Motion and undermount runners are rated up to 40kg — suitable for heavy pan drawers and larder pull-outs.
Will these fit my existing cabinets?
DTC drawer systems are designed to fit standard 18mm carcasses. If you're replacing old drawers, measure your cabinet internal width and depth — our packs are available in all common sizes. Not sure? Call us on 0161 465 4007 and we'll help you check.
Do the drawer packs include everything I need?
Yes — our drawer packs include sides, base, back, runners, and fixings. You'll just need your own drawer front (which attaches to the front brackets). Some packs also include internal handles for pan drawers.
How do I fit soft close drawer runners?
All our runners come with fitting instructions. Side-mount ball bearing runners screw directly to the cabinet sides and drawer box. Undermount runners require clips underneath the drawer — we stock the brackets separately if needed.
