Product Description

Indigo is a deep, confident navy, and where it ends matters: a navy kitchen with mismatched edges looks unfinished. These indigo woodgrain finishing components line up with the Indigo door and drawer fronts, which means the plinth, the trims and the panels continue the same dark blue without a break in the colour. For anyone choosing indigo cabinet trims, the 30-item list covers every position in the room, from the floor to the top of the wall units and around every exposed end.

There are two ways to use indigo. For a full indigo kitchen, add everything: the 3050mm Tangent Pelmet, Plinth, Tangent Cornice and Straight Square End Cornice/Pelmet, end panels ranging between 830 x 350mm and 2400 x 900mm, plus the corner posts and pillars. For an accent, set indigo against lighter doors with just a Plinth and a couple of end panels, or a Corner Post pair at the ends of a run. Curved pieces (a plinth, two cornices, an end pillar with a matching block) are made for external curves, letting a rounded end take the colour as well.

Four timber extras are solid timber (oak, or painted ash): the barrel pilaster, the floor column and both racks, alongside the mantel pieces and a complete kit. Each item has its own size, so an indigo plinth for base units, an indigo pelmet for wall units and an indigo end panel for kitchen units can be bought one at a time, so nothing is wasted. Aspin Collins can send the whole set to any UK address, and Indigo doors and drawer fronts are available to join it, which keeps the colour consistent.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What counts as kitchen trims, and which indigo pieces are included?
Kitchen trims are the pieces that finish the edges of cabinets: plinths, cornices, pelmets, end panels, corner posts and pillars. The indigo range has 30 items, including timber and mantel pieces.

2. Should I match my indigo end panels to the doors or use white for contrast?
Matching indigo panels make a run look like one piece, while white creates a strong two-tone contrast. Matching is the safer choice, and a sample beside the doors shows which you prefer.

3. Which indigo end panel fits a standard 900mm tall base unit?
The Base End Panel measures 900 x 650 x 18mm and is made for base units. Measure the height and depth of your own unit first, as base units can differ between makers.

4. Why does my indigo end panel look a slightly different colour from my doors?
Lighting and screen settings change how deep navy appears, and a panel seen at a different angle can look lighter. Compare it with a door in daylight, and call us on 0161 465 4007 if it still looks off.

5. Is it worth adding indigo mantel pieces, or should I stick to plinths and panels?
Plinths, end panels and a cornice or pelmet finish almost every kitchen, so start there. The mantel top, sides, shelf and corbels only matter if you want a fireplace-style surround.

6. What indigo trims will a kitchen with a breakfast bar need?
Count the visible ends first. The Breakfast Bar End Panel (2400 x 900 x 18mm) covers the bar end, base units need Base End Panels, and the Plinth runs along the front of the base units.
