Product Description

Porcelain is a soft, warm off-white, close in spirit to Ivory but with an undertone of its own, and trims in the same shade are what keep a whole kitchen looking settled. These porcelain woodgrain finishing components follow the Porcelain of the door and drawer fronts exactly, which keeps the sides, the top and the base in one colour from the first panel to the last. Thirty items are listed, grouped here by where they go.

For the sides of the units, porcelain kitchen end panels come in six sizes, starting at 830 x 350 x 18mm and finishing with the 2400 x 900 x 18mm Breakfast Bar End Panel, alongside a T&G End Panel that has a plain reverse. For the top, a porcelain kitchen cornice is available as the Tangent Cornice or the Straight Square End Cornice/Pelmet, both in 3050mm lengths, with the Tangent Pelmet to run beneath the units. The 3050mm Plinth and 3000mm Decorative Plinth cover the base, while two end pillars, a Corner Post pair and the L-shaped posts in three sizes handle corners and ends.

The traditional pieces add character. A porcelain floor column at 950 x 80 x 80mm and a porcelain bottle rack at 1500mm come in solid timber (oak, or ash that has been painted), alongside the barrel pilaster, plate rack and mantel pieces. Curved pieces are external-curve only: a plinth, two cornices and a block. Because each item is listed separately, you buy only what the layout needs, and nothing is added to the basket by default. Aspin Collins sends orders from its UK workshop anywhere in the UK, which means a full Porcelain kitchen can ship together.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Where would a porcelain floor column go in a kitchen?
A floor column is a decorative timber column, here 950 x 80 x 80mm, used to finish the end of a run or an island in a traditional kitchen. The porcelain one is solid timber in oak or painted ash.

2. Is a porcelain bottle rack or plate rack the better choice for a traditional kitchen?
Choose by use. The Bottle Rack is 1500mm and the Plate Rack is 1200mm, both in solid timber. A plate rack suits displaying crockery, while a bottle rack suits wine or oils.

3. Will porcelain kitchen end panels fit units made by another manufacturer?
The panels come in fixed sizes: 830 x 350, 900 x 650, 990 x 375, 2400 x 650 and 2400 x 900mm, all 18mm thick. Measure each exposed side of your units and compare before ordering.

4. The porcelain bottle rack is 1500mm but my wall is shorter, what are my options?
Measure the wall first. The Bottle Rack is listed only at 1500mm, so a shorter wall may suit the 1200mm Plate Rack, or no rack at all. Call us on 0161 465 4007 if you are unsure.

5. Should I get a porcelain kitchen cornice if my ceilings are low?
A cornice is optional. It adds visual weight along the top of the wall units, so with low ceilings you may prefer a pelmet beneath the units, or neither. Hold a sample against the wall first.

6. What do I need to order for porcelain trims on a kitchen with curved units?
Order the straight lengths for the straight runs, then add the Curved Plinth (605 x 335 x 18mm) and the curved cornices (338 x 338 and 372 x 372mm), which suit external curves only. Measure the curve first.
