Product Description
Anthracite is the boldest grey in the range, a deep charcoal, and a dark kitchen lives or dies by its sides. These anthracite decor end panels finish those sides in the same colour as the Anthracite door and drawer fronts, and the anthracite tongue and groove end panel adds a grooved front for a more traditional look, with a plain reverse. The full set of anthracite woodgrain finishing components covers the plinth line, the wall unit tops and the corners, so the dark colour never stops short.
For a tall unit, the Tall End Panel measures 2400 x 650 x 18mm, so an anthracite tower unit end panel can run the full height, while the Base End Panel and Wall End Panel cover the lower and upper units. Along the floor, the 3050mm Plinth works as anthracite kitchen skirting, with a 3000mm Decorative Plinth and a Curved Plinth for external curves. The Tangent Pelmet, Straight Square End Cornice/Pelmet and Tangent Cornice all run in 3050mm lengths, with curved cornices for rounded wall units. Corners and ends are finished by L-shaped posts in three sizes, a Corner Post pair and a pair of end pillars, one straight and one curved.
Charcoal makes a strong frame for traditional pieces too. The timber extras are solid oak or painted ash (a barrel pilaster, floor column and the bottle and plate racks), and they sit alongside the mantel pieces and complete kit, so a fireplace-style surround can follow the same colour. With 30 items listed, each one can be ordered on its own. Aspin Collins delivers from its UK workshop in Dukinfield anywhere in the UK, so a full Anthracite kitchen can be ordered in one go.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Why would I use a decor end panel on an anthracite kitchen unit?
A decor end panel covers the exposed side of a unit in the same finish as the doors, so the end of a run matches the front. There are six anthracite sizes, from 830 x 350mm up to 2400 x 900mm.
2. Is an anthracite tongue and groove end panel better than the plain end panels for a traditional kitchen?
The T&G End Panel (2400 x 650 x 18mm) has tongue and groove detail on its front face and a plain reverse. The other five end panels are listed without that detail, so choose by the door style you want to match.
3. Will the anthracite Corner Post pair suit units that are 715mm tall?
The Corner Post pair is 715 x 70 x 22mm, the same length as a 715mm door height, so it suits units of that height. Measure your own units first, and use the taller L-shaped post for 895mm wall units.
4. My anthracite trims look lighter than my doors, is that a problem?
Not usually. Lighting and the angle you view from change how deep charcoal looks, and a long plinth or panel catches light differently from a door. Compare them in daylight, and call us on 0161 465 4007 if it still looks off.
5. If my anthracite wall units reach the ceiling, can I skip the cornice?
Yes. A cornice only fills the gap above wall units, and it is optional anyway. If your units go right up to the ceiling there is nothing to cover, though a pelmet beneath them can still hide under-cabinet lighting.
6. Can I add anthracite trims to a kitchen that is already fitted?
Yes. Measure the exposed unit sides, the plinth runs and the tops of the wall units, then order the matching sizes. We also offer installation across Manchester and Cheshire, so call 0161 465 4007 if you would like a fitter.
