A Classic Shaker Door Made in One Piece

Our seamless matt shaker kitchen doors take the most popular kitchen door style in the UK and make it simpler to live with. Instead of being built from separate rails, stiles and a centre panel, each door starts as a single 18mm MDF board. The shaker frame is routed into the face, then one continuous layer of super matt vinyl is pressed over the whole front. The result is a crisp shaker outline with softly rounded edges and no joints anywhere on the face.

The frame is 65mm wide, a classic proportion that gives each door a clear border without looking heavy. It suits a period terrace, a new-build family kitchen and an open-plan extension equally well, and it keeps narrow doors and long runs of wall units looking light and balanced.

Why Choose Seamless Shaker Doors?

The biggest advantage of seamless shaker doors is what is missing. A traditional five-piece door has joins at every corner, and over time those joins can collect grease, dust and crumbs. With a one-piece face there is nowhere for dirt to settle, so a quick wipe keeps the doors looking crisp.

The super matt surface adds to that. It diffuses light instead of reflecting it, so colours look soft and even from every angle, with no glare under spotlights, and fingerprints show far less than on gloss. Because the colour is part of the vinyl wrap, there is no paint to chip, flake or touch up.

Seamless Matt Shaker Colours

Four colours cover the full range of moods, from bright and fresh to warm and earthy.

Porcelain

Porcelain is a soft off white, gentler than brilliant white and without the yellow of cream. It keeps a kitchen light and open, helps a small or north-facing room feel brighter, and sits well beside oak, walnut, marble and concrete.

Taupe

Taupe is a warm blend of grey and beige, a natural stone shade that looks cooler in daylight and warmer under evening lighting. It suits brushed brass, copper and bronze handles, and pairs beautifully with oak, terracotta and honed stone.

Dove Grey

Dove Grey is a cool, light grey with a faint hint of blue. It looks crisp beside stainless steel appliances, chrome taps and white quartz, giving a family kitchen a fresh, tailored feel.

Reed Green

Reed Green is a muted grey-green in the sage family. It brings colour into the kitchen without feeling loud, and looks at home in a cottage kitchen with a butler sink just as much as in a modern extension.

Colours can look slightly different on screen, so check your chosen shade against your worktop, flooring and walls before ordering.

What Sizes Are Available?

Every colour comes in the same 40 sizes, so you can plan a complete kitchen in any shade:

  • 715mm doors for base and wall units, in widths from 245mm to 595mm
  • 450mm, 495mm, 570mm and 645mm doors for smaller cabinets
  • 895mm and 980mm doors for taller wall units
  • 1245mm doors for tall larder and housing units
  • a 110 x 595mm oven filler for a built-in oven housing
  • 715 x 147mm and 715 x 197mm blank panels to close narrow gaps
  • five glazed frame doors with clear glass for display cabinets

Every door can be ordered drilled for hinges or undrilled. Handles are sold separately, so you can choose any style and finish.

Complete Your Kitchen

Each colour has its own matching drawer fronts and finishing components, so the whole kitchen reads as one finish.

Drawer Fronts

Drawer fronts come in 25 sizes across four heights. The 140mm and 175mm fronts have a plain face for cutlery and utensil drawers. The 283mm and 355mm fronts carry the same 65mm shaker frame as the doors, and they suit deep pan drawers or can be hung as short doors. All fronts are 18mm thick, so they sit flush with the doors, and widths run from 295mm to 995mm.

Finishing Components

Four end panel sizes cover wall, tall wall, base and tall cabinets, and a 3050mm plinth runs along the base of the units. Classic cornice or square bullnose finishes the tops of the wall units, and a radius rail with matching caps softens exposed corners. A barrel pilaster adds a furniture-style column beside a range cooker, and Dove Grey and Reed Green also have a bottle rack rail for an open wine rack.

Caring for Super Matt Doors

These wipe clean shaker kitchen doors need very little looking after. Wipe them with a soft, damp microfibre cloth and a drop of washing-up liquid, then dry them with a clean cloth. For greasy marks near the hob, use warm soapy water rather than scrubbing.

Avoid scourers, abrasive creams, polish and solvent cleaners, as rubbing hard can burnish a low-sheen surface and leave shiny patches. Vinyl wrapped doors should also be kept away from direct heat, so fit heat deflectors beside ovens and avoid running a kettle or toaster directly under wall units.

How This Range Compares

If you are deciding between our shaker ranges, the differences come down to frame width and construction. Our Bold Frame Matt Shaker doors are also one-piece, super matt and 18mm thick, but they have a broad 110mm frame for a bolder, more contemporary look. These 65mm frame shaker doors have a slimmer, more traditional border.

Our Super Matt Framed Shaker doors share the super matt finish but are built from five separate pieces, 22mm thick with a 75mm frame. Choose this range if you want a classic shaker outline with a smooth, joint-free face that is quick to clean.

Replacing Your Kitchen Doors

New doors are one of the simplest ways to transform a kitchen while keeping the cabinets and worktops you already have. Measure the height and width of each existing door in millimetres, then choose the nearest size from the list on each colour’s product page. Measure every door rather than assuming they match, and note any oven housings, tall units and glazed cabinets. Doors are sold in stock sizes; if yours is not listed, call us and our team will help you find the closest standard size.

Fast UK Delivery

We offer nationwide shipping, with standard delivery usually in 1–3 business days. Order doors, drawer fronts and finishing components together so the kitchen arrives in one delivery and the colour matches throughout.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is a seamless shaker door?

It is a shaker door made from a single 18mm board, with the frame routed into the face and one continuous vinyl wrap over the top, so there are no joints between the frame and centre panel.

2. What makes a door a shaker door?

A shaker door has a flat or recessed centre panel surrounded by a square-edged frame. The simple outline suits both traditional and modern kitchens, which is why it remains the most popular door style.

3. How long does a vinyl wrapped kitchen door last?

With sensible care, a vinyl wrapped door stays looking good for many years. Clean it with mild soapy water, avoid solvents and keep it away from direct heat to protect the finish.

4. How do I clean matt kitchen cupboard doors?

Use a soft microfibre cloth with warm water and a drop of washing-up liquid, then dry. Avoid scourers, polish and abrasive creams, which can leave shiny patches on a matt surface.

5. Which colours do Seamless Matt Shaker doors come in?

There are four: Porcelain, a soft off white; Taupe, a grey-beige; Dove Grey, a cool light grey; and Reed Green, a muted sage-like green. Each has 40 door sizes.

6. Can I buy matching drawer fronts and trims for Seamless Matt Shaker?

Yes. Every colour has its own drawer fronts in 25 sizes and finishing components including end panels, plinth, cornice, radius rail and barrel pilaster, all in the same super matt finish.
