Product Description
Country-style kitchens with a modern edge are where cashmere matt really shines, because the finishing details carry as much character as the doors. A butler sink, a stone floor and open oak shelves all sit beside the units, so bare sides or a mismatched plinth stand out. Cashmere matt end panels finish those sides in a warm, velvety neutral, and a cashmere matt kitchen plinth runs along the floor to frame the base. Each piece is painted to match our Cashmere Matt doors, and the matt finish feels softer to the touch than gloss.
Country kitchens often use L-shaped layouts, and the corners deserve attention. L corner base and wall posts fill the angle neatly, internal and external posts handle the rest, and the shaped base panel carries the J-pull around the end of a run for a softer outline. For tall dressers or larders, full-height 2400mm panels cover the side, while the kitchen cupboard end panel for base units measures 900 x 650 x 22mm. Lengths of plinth cut on site make neat plinths for kitchen cupboards of any width.
Along the top of the wall units, the square-end profile works as cabinet cornice, giving a calm line beneath the ceiling, or underneath as pelmet over a prep area. Curved plinth, curved cornice and a curved end post round off external curved ends, which suits the gentle feel of a country room. Panels can be cut to width where a filler is needed beside a range cooker, and each piece is ordered on its own. Mitre the plinth at corners for a tidy finish. Aspin Collins is based in the UK and delivers its components nationwide.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Do cashmere matt finishing components suit a country kitchen?
Yes, the warm, velvety cashmere sits naturally beside oak, stone and a butler sink. Matching panels and plinth give a modern handleless kitchen a relaxed, country feel.
2. Which cashmere matt corner post suits an L-shaped base run?
The L corner base corner post, 715 x 70 x 70mm, fills the angle where two base runs meet. A matching L corner wall post, 715 x 28 x 28mm, suits the wall units above.
3. Can cashmere matt end panels sit next to a butler sink unit?
Yes, a base end panel finishes the side of the sink run neatly. Choose the shaped version if you want the J-pull line to continue around the end.
4. How should cashmere matt cornice be finished at a corner?
Cut the square-end cornice with mitred joints where two wall runs meet, so the cashmere matt line turns the corner cleanly. It comes in 3050mm lengths.
5. Will cashmere matt plinth go with a stone floor?
Yes, the warm cashmere tone complements natural stone and terracotta floors. The plinth frames the base of the units and sits comfortably against the floor's texture.
6. Are cashmere matt panels the same colour as the gloss version?
They share the same cashmere colour but have a matt finish. Matt panels look softer and slightly deeper than gloss, so match the panels to the finish of your doors.
