Product Description
Ivory gloss is a warm, creamy shade, and that warmth only carries through the room when the trims follow suit. A white plinth or a wood-effect side beside ivory doors is noticed immediately, which is why this set is finished in the very ivory high-gloss our Slab doors and drawer fronts use. A cream kitchen plinth in ivory runs the colour right down to the floor, giving the units a solid, furniture-like base that sits naturally in Victorian terraces, cottages and new builds alike. The soft sheen of the gloss also helps the cream reflect daylight, so even a north-facing kitchen keeps a gentle brightness.
Exposed cabinet ends are among the most visible parts of any kitchen, particularly beside a doorway or at the end of an island. A painted kitchen cupboard end panel covers the bare carcass and gives it the same polished cream face as the doors, so the side of the run reads as part of the design. Above the worktop, pelmets for kitchen cupboards frame under-cabinet lighting, casting a warm glow across the counter that flatters the creamy tone in the evening.
Tall runs, breakfast bars and curved corners each have their own ivory pieces, from full height kitchen side panels for larders to curved plinth and curved cornice for rounded end units. When an older kitchen simply looks tired at the top, a replacement kitchen cornice in ivory gloss can refresh the wall units in an afternoon without touching the doors. Aspin Collins sends orders all over the UK, so doors, drawer fronts and every ivory finishing piece for one kitchen can be planned together and arrive in exactly the same warm shade.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Will the ivory gloss finishing components match my ivory doors exactly?
Yes. Panels, plinths and cornice are painted in the same ivory high-gloss as our Slab doors and drawer fronts, so the shade and sheen are consistent.
2. What is the difference between a cornice and a pelmet on ivory wall units?
They use the same profile. Fitted along the top of the wall units it is called cornice, and fitted along the bottom edge to hide lighting it is called pelmet.
3. Can ivory gloss plinth be fitted to a curved end unit?
Yes. A curved plinth, 608 x 338 x 150 x 18mm, follows rounded end units, so the ivory base continues smoothly around the curve.
4. Are the ivory gloss components supplied with fixings?
Fixings are not normally included. Standard cabinet screws, plinth clips and adhesive are used, depending on the component and how your kitchen is built.
5. Do I need an end panel beside an integrated dishwasher?
If the dishwasher sits at the end of a run, yes. An ivory gloss end panel closes off the side so the appliance housing looks finished and protected.
6. Can ivory gloss components be added to an existing ivory kitchen?
Yes. If your doors are our ivory gloss Slab doors, the components can be added at any time to finish areas that were left bare.
