Product Description

Bright white gloss doors only look their best when the edges around them shine just as much. A pale cabinet side, a wood-effect plinth or a bare wall unit top can spoil an otherwise crisp handleless kitchen, so these components are lacquered in the same White Gloss as our Budget J-Pull doors and drawer fronts. Adding a white gloss end panel to the exposed side of a run turns separate cabinets into one smooth, reflective block, and it is the detail that makes a budget kitchen look properly finished rather than assembled.

Each panel is 19mm thick, the same as the doors, so faces and edges line up neatly along the run. There are kitchen end panels for every position: a 900 x 650mm base panel, a 792 x 350mm wall panel, a 2400 x 650mm panel for tall units and a 2400 x 900mm breakfast bar panel deep enough to wrap an island. Shaped and L-shape corner posts close the gaps where two runs meet, keeping the white line unbroken around the room.

At floor level, a white gloss kitchen plinth bounces light across the floor, so the units appear to float and a compact kitchen feels more open. Each plinth length is 2800mm long, which means many straight runs need only one length. Above the wall units, the square-ended cornice and pelmet profile works as a neat kitchen cornice moulding, hiding cabinet tops and the cables of any under-cabinet lights. Aspin Collins delivers across the UK, so you can order kick boards for kitchens, panels and cornice together with your doors and finish the room in one fitting.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Why is the White Gloss plinth 18mm when the panels are 19mm?
The White Gloss plinth is 2800 x 150 x 18mm and sits set back beneath the units, behind the door line, so the 1mm difference from the 19mm panels is never noticeable.

2. Can one White Gloss 2400mm panel make two base end panels?
Yes, a 2400 x 650mm White Gloss panel can be cut into two 900mm base end panels, leaving an offcut that is useful for a filler or a small return.

3. Are there curved pieces in the White Gloss range?
No, the Budget J-Pull White Gloss components cover end panels, plinth, cornice and pelmet and corner posts, with no curved end posts, so runs finish with a square end panel.

4. Does a White Gloss base end panel reach the floor?
Yes, the 900mm-high White Gloss base end panel is tall enough to run from the worktop down to the floor, covering the cabinet side and the plinth area in one piece.

5. Do I need a White Gloss end panel on a unit against a wall?
No, a cabinet side against a wall is hidden, so it does not need a White Gloss end panel. Panels are only needed on sides that stay visible after fitting.

6. Can White Gloss panels cover the side of a freestanding fridge?
Yes, a tall White Gloss end panel can be fixed beside a freestanding fridge to frame it, as long as the fridge keeps the ventilation gap its manual asks for.
