Product Description

Lindby introduces a genuine mini ridge reeded wall panel texture, a considerably finer profile than a standard fluted design, built to capture light beautifully across its delicate ridges. As a genuine flexible fine fluted panel, it shares the same flexible backing as the wider range, letting it wrap smoothly around curves, columns, and corners rather than sitting flat.

Available in reeded oak wall panel UK and flexible walnut reeded panel finishes, Lindby suits both feature walls and overhead ceilings, giving a refined, tactile finish that reads as more delicate than a bolder slat pattern. Every ridge features real wood veneer wrapped on all faces, so this fine line tambour wood panel keeps a consistently premium finish from every angle, not just front-on.

As a genuine curved reeded panel for walls, Lindby is sustainably produced using recycled materials and installs with straightforward adhesive or screw fixing. Available through Aspin Collins as part of the wider Flexii range, it's a considered choice for anyone wanting a subtler architectural texture than a wide fluted panel provides.

Fixing Instructions

We recommend using a strong "no nails" panel adhesive to fix your panels directly to the wall. For extra support, we'd also recommend reinforcing with black matt-coated 30mm screws.

These panels can be fixed to a range of surfaces, including plasterboard, brick, lath and plaster, tiles, and plywood. The key requirement is that the underlying surface is in good condition, with no underlying moisture, large cracks, dust, or damage.

If you'd rather have your panels professionally fitted, our team offers installation across Manchester, Cheshire, and the surrounding areas, get in touch here to discuss your project.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. How is the ridge on Lindby different from the wider flute on Sundvik?
Lindby's ridge is 13.5mm, considerably finer than Sundvik's 25mm slat, giving a more delicate, refined texture rather than a bold, pronounced flute.

2. Does the finer ridge make Lindby less effective at hiding wall imperfections than a wider slat panel?
It can be slightly less forgiving on an uneven surface, since the ridges are smaller and more closely spaced, so it's worth checking your wall's condition beforehand for the cleanest finish.

3. Is the backing visible between the ridges once installed on a curve?
On a tight curve, a small amount of backing may become visible between ridges as the panel bends, this is normal for flexible tambour-style panels and becomes less noticeable at a gentler curve radius.

4. Why is Lindby slightly heavier per panel than Sundvik despite being a finer design?
The finer ridge construction uses a marginally denser build to maintain rigidity at that smaller scale, bringing it to roughly 12kg per panel compared to Sundvik's 10kg.

5. Is Lindby suitable for a busy commercial space as well as a home?
Yes, it's built for both residential and commercial application, though in a high-traffic setting it's worth considering a protective finish given its more delicate ridge profile.

6. Can Lindby be installed alongside Sundvik on the same project for a layered texture effect?
Yes, since both share the same flexible construction and finish options, using Lindby's finer ridge on one wall and Sundvik's bolder flute on another can create a genuinely considered contrast within the same space.
