Dove Grey Matt creates a calm, low-glare kitchen, and the pieces around the doors should keep that quiet look going without a break. These components are made in Dove Grey Matt to match our Pre-Drilled Slab doors and drawer fronts. A dove grey end panel on the open side of a run is especially useful in an open-plan room, where the kitchen is seen from the sofa and dining table and every cabinet side is on show. Matching panels make an island look like a piece of furniture rather than a block of units.
The tops of wall units are easy to forget, yet they are often visible from across the room. A grey kitchen cornice in the same matt finish runs along the top of the cupboards, hiding cabinet edges and dust-gathering gaps behind a straight line. Each kitchen cornice length is 2800 x 45 x 35mm and is cut on site, and the square-ended kitchen cupboard cornice profile can also be fitted beneath the units as a pelmet. Cornice also gives a clean finish where wall units stop short of the ceiling.
At floor level, a grey kickboard in 2800mm lengths finishes the gap beneath the base units in the same soft shade. End panels are 19mm thick to sit level with the doors, in base, wall, tall and breakfast bar sizes, and three corner posts cover base and wall corners. Because the matt finish diffuses light, panels and plinth look even from every angle, even under spotlights. Tall end panels are 2400 x 650mm, and each one can be cut to height.
