These black matt slab finishing components make sure it is, covering every end panel, plinth and trim so no light carcass edge or metal leg interrupts the run. Black works with almost any worktop, from white quartz to oak and marble effects, and the super matt finish keeps the look soft rather than shiny. The result is a kitchen where the cabinetry reads as one solid, sculptural block from the plinth line upwards.
Our 18mm black super matt end panels are cured under UV light, giving a hard, fingerprint-resistant surface that matters on a colour that shows smudges easily. Sizes run from a 784 x 355mm wall panel and a 964 x 355mm tall wall panel to a base end panel at 910 x 650mm and a full-height 2350 x 650mm panel. These matt black slab end panels are laser edged and painted, so there is no edging line. Along the floor, a black slab kitchen plinth, 150mm tall in 2800mm lengths, conceals the legs and gives the base of the run a clean, continuous shadow line.
Islands are covered too. The black slab island panel, at 1200 x 685mm, is made for Vero handleless base units, and the 2400 x 910mm breakfast bar panel clads a long seating side. The 50 x 30mm square bullnose, sold in 3050mm lengths, can top the wall cabinets as a cornice or sit underneath as a pelmet. For a corner post, use the 715 x 147mm door.
