These kala ash slab finishing components extend the same woodgrain onto the visible sides of units and along the plinth, so the run looks like crafted timber furniture rather than a collection of separate cabinets. Our 18mm ash woodgrain end panels come in four sizes: 784 x 355mm for standard wall units, 964 x 355mm for taller wall units, 910 x 650mm for base units, and the kala ash tall end panel at 2350 x 650mm for a full-height larder or appliance housing. Every panel shares the finish of the doors, so the grain and tone sit naturally beside them. At floor level, the kala ash kitchen plinth has a horizontal grain along each 2800mm length and stands 150mm high, so it reads as one continuous strip beneath the base cabinets.
For an island or peninsula, the ash woodgrain breakfast bar panel measures 2400 x 910mm and also has a horizontal grain, covering the seating side in one piece. The Kala Ash range has no bullnose or Vero island panel, so a plain, trim-free top to the wall units suits it best, and a 715 x 147mm door can serve as a corner post.
