Product Description
Cashmere is a soft creamy-grey, warm enough to flatter timber and calm enough to sit beside stone, and the trims are where that colour carries a kitchen together. These cashmere woodgrain finishing components match the Cashmere door and drawer fronts, so the base, the top and the sides of every run all share one shade. With 30 items available, trims can be chosen for plain straight runs as easily as for curved corners and traditional features.
At the base, the 3050mm Plinth and the 3000mm Decorative Plinth hide the legs, and a Curved Plinth follows an external curve. At the top, the Straight Square End Cornice/Pelmet, Tangent Pelmet and Tangent Cornice each come in 3050mm lengths, with two curved cornices for curved runs. At the ends, six end panels cover the cabinet sides, the smallest being the 830 x 350mm Wall End Panel and the largest the 2400 x 900mm Breakfast Bar End Panel, whose grain runs along the 2400mm length. The Corner Post comes as a pair, with three L-shaped posts and straight and curved end pillars for the corners.
There are timber pieces in solid oak or painted ash, namely a plate rack, bottle rack, barrel pilaster and floor column, plus a complete mantel kit and its separate corbel, shelf, side and top. A cashmere pelmet trim finishes the underside of the wall units, a cashmere base end panel covers the side of a base unit, a cashmere breakfast bar panel dresses the end of an island, and a cashmere continuous plinth runs along the base. Orders placed with Aspin Collins travel across the UK from its UK base, so the Cashmere door and drawer fronts can arrive together.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Where does the cashmere Tangent Pelmet go, and what does a pelmet actually do?
A pelmet is the trim that runs beneath wall units, where it can hide under-cabinet lighting. The cashmere Tangent Pelmet is 3050 x 56 x 16.5mm and comes in a single 3050mm length.
2. Should I choose the cashmere Base End Panel or the Tall End Panel for the end of a run?
Choose by the unit it covers. The Base End Panel is 900 x 650 x 18mm and made for base units, while the Tall End Panel is 2400 x 650 x 18mm for tall units. Measure the unit first.
3. Can a cashmere breakfast bar panel cover the end of an island with seating?
The Breakfast Bar End Panel measures 2400 x 900 x 18mm, with the grain along the 2400mm length, so it is designed for breakfast bar and island ends. Measure the area you want to cover before ordering.
4. My kitchen run is only 2 metres, can I still use the 3050mm cashmere plinth?
Yes, but a 3050mm length is longer than a 2 metre run, so it will need trimming to fit. Measure carefully, and remember you need a second length if a run is longer than 3050mm.
5. Which cashmere pieces should I buy first if I want to finish my kitchen on a budget?
Start with the plinth and the end panels for any exposed sides, because they hide the most obvious gaps. A cornice and pelmet are optional extras, so they can be added later.
6. Can I clean cashmere trims with a damp cloth, or will it damage the finish?
Wipe them with a soft, damp cloth and dry them straight away, and avoid abrasive cleaners. This keeps the cashmere finish looking even along the plinths, cornices and end panels.
