Cover open cabinet sides with dakar kitchen end panels: a 780 x 355mm wall panel, a 960 x 355mm tall wall panel, a 1390 x 368mm panel and a 910 x 600mm base panel. A dakar tall end panel of 2350 x 650mm finishes a larder or oven housing, and a 2400 x 910mm panel closes off a breakfast bar, with its grain running horizontally. Every panel is 18mm thick and can be trimmed to suit uneven walls and floors, which older homes often have. Order one panel for every visible side, including the backs of islands and peninsulas.
Below the units, a dakar kitchen plinth comes in 3050mm lengths in a standard or ogee profile. Above them, a dakar kitchen cornice gives the classic finishing line, or the square bullnose offers a softer, simpler edge. For a country centrepiece, frame a range cooker with barrel pilasters and the shaker fronted canopy or overmantle.
