Product Description

A mid grey kitchen relies on clean, continuous lines, and nothing breaks them faster than a white cabinet side or a gap beneath the units. These stone grey woodgrain finishing components match the warm mid grey and raised grain of the Stone Grey Woodgrain Shaker range exactly, so panels, plinths and trims look like part of the furniture rather than an afterthought. Planning them with your doors also makes fitting quicker and the finished room tidier. The warm undertone means the panels sit happily beside both oak floors and grey tiles.

Stone grey kitchen end panels cover every type of unit. The 780 x 355mm and 960 x 355mm panels suit wall and tall wall cupboards, there is a 1390 x 368mm panel, and a 2350 x 650mm panel finishes larders and oven housings. A stone grey base end panel measures 910 x 600mm, ideal at the end of a run or on an island, while a 2400 x 910mm panel with horizontal grain covers a breakfast bar end. Each 18mm panel can be scribed on site.

Underneath, a stone grey kitchen plinth in 3050mm lengths, standard or ogee, keeps the colour running to the floor, and lengths can be joined neatly on long runs. Along the top, choose a stone grey kitchen cornice with a traditional moulded edge, or the plainer square bullnose, to finish the wall units neatly. Barrel pilasters, a shaker fronted canopy and an overmantle can turn a range cooker into a feature, while the wine rack rail, curved-corner radius rail and decorative end post round off the 18-piece collection from Aspin Collins, each sold on its own.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Does a Stone Grey Woodgrain island need two end panels?
Usually, yes. An island with open ends takes a Stone Grey Woodgrain 910 x 600mm base end panel at each end, so both sides look finished.

2. Can Stone Grey Woodgrain components create a cooker alcove?
Yes. A pair of Stone Grey Woodgrain barrel pilasters with the shaker fronted canopy above turns a range cooker into a framed, chimney-style feature.

3. Can I use a Stone Grey Woodgrain ogee plinth in a modern kitchen?
The ogee Stone Grey Woodgrain plinth has a shaped edge that suits traditional kitchens. For a modern room, the standard straight plinth gives a cleaner line.

4. Can Stone Grey Woodgrain end panels hide an uneven wall?
Yes. Stone Grey Woodgrain end panels can be scribed and trimmed on site to follow an uneven wall or floor, giving a tight, neat fit.

5. Do Stone Grey Woodgrain components suit a grey and white kitchen?
Yes. Stone Grey Woodgrain finishing components keep base units and an island fully grey, while white wall units above keep the room light.

6. Where should Stone Grey Woodgrain panels be kept before fitting?
Keep Stone Grey Woodgrain panels flat, indoors and dry before fitting, away from radiators and direct sunlight, so they stay straight and ready to install.
