Product Description

Oyster Oak gives drawers a pale, grey-washed woodgrain with a soft beige undertone, a light and contemporary take on oak. The fine, straight grain adds natural texture without the orange tones of traditional oak, so a run of drawers feels airy rather than heavy. With the look of wooden drawer fronts and none of the upkeep, these drawers suit coastal, minimalist and modern kitchens, and they look good with white or grey stone-effect worktops, stainless steel handles and soft sage or grey walls. In a north-facing room, the pale grain helps keep the kitchen feeling light.

A wood drawer front replacement in Oyster Oak's oak effect keeps your drawer boxes and runners in place, so you only change what you see. Each front is 18mm MFC with a melamine-faced woodgrain, ABS-edged sides and the same grain on the reverse. Choosing Oyster Oak in place of wooden kitchen doors and drawer fronts keeps the grain and colour consistent across every unit, and as both are 18mm thick, drawers and doors sit level. The surface resists everyday marks, which suits busy households and rented homes alike.

Each drawer front is sold individually, and matching doors give an oak effect alternative to wooden kitchen door fronts. Sizes run from 140mm cutlery fronts to deep 355mm fronts that can also be used as short doors. Vero fronts in 160mm and 325mm heights suit kitchens built with a handleless rail system. For a full kitchen cupboard fronts replacement, add matching Oyster Oak plinths, end panels and cornice. Oyster Oak also works on an island beside Dove Grey or White doors on the main runs, as long as each finish keeps to its own run. Handles are sold separately. Aspin Collins delivers across the UK.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Is Oyster Oak a light or a dark woodgrain?
Oyster Oak is a light woodgrain, a pale grey-beige oak effect that keeps a run of drawers feeling bright and airy rather than heavy.

2. Is Oyster Oak practical for a rented home?
Yes, the hard-wearing melamine woodgrain on Oyster Oak fronts resists everyday wear and wipes clean easily, which suits rented homes.

3. What worktop colours work with Oyster Oak drawers?
White, light grey and stone-effect worktops all suit Oyster Oak drawers, letting the soft grain show without competing with the surface.

4. Does Oyster Oak have a strong grain pattern?
No, Oyster Oak has a fine, straight grain with a soft, washed tone, so drawers look calm and modern rather than rustic.

5. What is Oyster Oak made from?
Oyster Oak fronts are 18mm MFC with a melamine-faced woodgrain on both sides and ABS-edged sides, giving the look of oak with an easy-clean surface.

6. Can Oyster Oak drawers brighten a dark kitchen?
