Product Description
Oyster Oak gives a kitchen a pale, grey-washed woodgrain, and the pieces that frame the doors should keep that light, airy look going. These components are made in Oyster Oak to match our Pre-Drilled Slab woodgrain doors and drawer fronts. An oak effect kitchen plinth in this pale grain keeps the base of each run feeling light rather than heavy, which suits coastal, Scandinavian and minimalist kitchens with pale floors. The fine, straight grain has a soft beige undertone without the orange tones of traditional oak.
Each oak effect end panel is 18mm thick with a melamine-faced woodgrain, matching the Oyster Oak doors so faces line up neatly. Base, wall and tall panels cover the usual positions, and a large 2060 x 900mm panel can be cut on site for wider ends, such as an island. The surface resists everyday marks, which suits busy kitchens and rented homes alike, and it wipes clean with a damp cloth. Base panels are 900 x 650mm, wall panels 792 x 350mm and the tall panel 2400 x 650mm.
Along the wall units, an oak effect kitchen cornice finishes the tops of the cupboards, and the same square-ended profile fitted underneath works as an oak effect kitchen pelmet, giving a neat edge above the worktop. Where two runs meet, an oak corner post in the same pale grain closes the gap, with three posts covering base and wall corners. Plinth and cornice come in 2800mm lengths. Oyster Oak panels also suit an island beside Dove Grey or White runs, as long as each finish has its own run, and matching plinth lengths can be joined on long runs. Aspin Collins delivers across the UK.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Why is there no breakfast bar panel in Oyster Oak?
The 2400 x 900mm breakfast bar panel is made in the gloss and matt colours only. The 2060 x 900mm Oyster Oak panel can be cut down for wide ends.
2. Can Oyster Oak cornice be cut to suit short runs?
Yes, Oyster Oak cornice comes in 2800mm lengths and is cut on site, so a short run over two or three wall units uses just part of one length.
3. Will an Oyster Oak plinth make the base units look lighter?
Yes, a pale Oyster Oak plinth keeps the base of the run light and airy, especially with pale flooring, rather than creating a dark band.
4. Can Oyster Oak cornice frame open shelves between wall units?
Yes, Oyster Oak cornice can run along the tops of wall units on either side of open shelves, keeping one woodgrain line across the wall.
5. Will Oyster Oak panels line up with Oyster Oak doors?
Yes, Oyster Oak panels are 18mm thick like the doors, so the faces of panels and doors sit level along each run.
6. Do Oyster Oak components suit a coastal-style room?
Yes, the pale grey-beige Oyster Oak grain suits a coastal look, especially with white walls, soft blue accents and brushed steel handles.
