Product Description

Cashmere matt is a velvety, warm greige, and its softness depends on every surface sharing the same tone. These components are finished in the cashmere matt used on our Slab doors and drawer fronts, so trims and panels melt into the units instead of drawing the eye. An mdf kitchen cornice and pelmet in cashmere caps the wall units with a soft, even edge that suits cosy family kitchens and relaxed country-modern rooms equally well.

Warm tones need warm finishing touches. A cashmere matt kitchen end panel on the side of a run looks far more inviting than a bare white carcass, and the same applies to islands, where breakfast bar panels wrap the back in the same velvety colour. Curved plinth, curved cornice and curved end posts follow rounded units, and a small curved block neatly caps the top of each end post, keeping the gentle lines that suit a cashmere scheme. For peninsulas and larders, tall and breakfast bar panels are available in the same finish, so no cabinet side is left bare. Every piece is 18mm thick to line up with the doors.

Down at the floor, kickboards for kitchen runs in cashmere matt disguise everyday scuffs and keep the units grounded. Tall kitchen cabinet panels finish larders and appliance housings, keeping the warm tone running from floor to ceiling and wrapping tall units in the same soft colour. Because cashmere is so soft, ordering plinths for kitchen cupboards with the doors keeps every surface in exactly the same shade. With UK-wide shipping from Aspin Collins, the whole cashmere matt set can be delivered in one go.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do cashmere matt finishing components suit a country-style kitchen?
Yes. The warm greige matt finish works with timber, terracotta and natural stone, giving a relaxed, country-modern look with clean, simple lines.

2. Can cashmere matt end panels clad other fitted storage?
They are made for fitted kitchen units, but can also clad the side of other fitted storage built from standard carcasses, such as a utility or boot room run.

3. What does the curved block do on a cashmere matt end post?
The curved block, 40 x 40 x 35mm, caps the top of the curved end post, giving a neat, rounded finish at the top of the run.

4. How many cornice lengths does a cashmere matt kitchen need?
Measure the total length of your wall units, including returns. Each straight cornice is 3050mm long, so most kitchens need two or three lengths.

5. How do I clean cashmere matt plinths?
Wipe them with a soft, damp cloth and dry them afterwards. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh sprays, which can polish or mark a matt finish.

6. Will cashmere matt panels match cashmere gloss doors?
The colour is the same, but the sheen is different. For a seamless look, choose components in the same matt or gloss finish as your doors.
