Product Description

A white gloss kitchen only looks truly finished when every visible edge shines as brightly as the doors. A raw cabinet side, a grey plinth or a missing pelmet can break up an otherwise seamless run, so these pieces carry the identical white high-gloss used on our Slab doors and drawer fronts. Fitting a white gloss end panel to the exposed side of a run turns the cabinets into one clean, continuous block, which looks especially striking at the end of an island or beside a tall larder where the side is seen from across the room.

Down at floor level, a white gloss kitchen plinth completes the reflective look, bouncing light along the floor so the whole run appears lighter and the units seem to float. Plinths come in long lengths so a typical run can be covered with few joins, and a curved version follows rounded end units. Our kitchen end panels cover wall, base, tall and breakfast bar positions, while corner posts and filler pieces close the awkward gaps that appear where two runs meet or where a cabinet sits against an uneven wall.

Above the wall units, a painted mdf kitchen cornice and pelmet profile adds a neat top and bottom edge, hiding the cabinet tops and any under-cabinet lighting. Because every item shares one batch of paint with the doors, there is no near-miss in shade between door, panel and trim, which matters more with white than with any other colour. Aspin Collins delivers across the UK, and ordering kick boards for kitchen units alongside your doors means the plinth, panels and cornice arrive together, ready to finish the room in a single visit from your fitter.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What do the white gloss finishing components include?
The range includes end panels for wall, base and tall units, breakfast bar panels, straight and curved plinths, cornice and pelmet, filler pieces, corner posts and curved end posts, all in white high-gloss.

2. Can a white gloss end panel be trimmed to fit?
Yes. End panels can be carefully trimmed with a fine-tooth saw to suit your cabinet height or depth. Keep the factory-finished edge at the front, where it is most visible.

3. How do I fix white gloss end panels to my cabinets?
Most fitters screw through the inside of the cabinet into the back of the end panel, using screws short enough not to break through the painted face.

4. How long is each white gloss plinth length?
Each straight plinth is 3050mm long and 150mm high, so most runs can be covered in one or two lengths, cut to size on site.

5. Can a white gloss panel line the back of an open shelf unit?
Yes. A panel can be cut to size and fixed inside an open shelf unit, giving the back the same bright white gloss as the doors around it.

6. Does a white gloss plinth show dust more than matt?
Gloss can show light dust a little more than matt at floor level. A quick wipe with a damp microfibre cloth keeps the white gloss plinth bright.
