Product Description
Real oak veneer gives a slab kitchen genuine timber character, with natural variations in grain and tone that no printed finish can copy. These oak veneer slab finishing components carry that same real wood onto end panels, plinths and trims, so every visible surface of the cabinetry matches the doors and drawer fronts. Oak sits comfortably with white, black and stone worktops, and it warms up a modern slab layout without making it feel traditional, which makes it a popular choice for open-plan kitchens that flow into living spaces.
Our 18mm oak veneer slab end panels are made from real oak veneer on a stable core. Two panels suit wall units, at 784 x 355mm and 964 x 355mm, while 910 x 650mm suits base units and 2350 x 650mm covers a tall housing. Because each piece is natural timber, grain and shade vary slightly from panel to panel, just as they do on the doors. The oak veneer kitchen plinth measures 2800mm long by 150mm high, with a horizontal grain that follows the run of the base units instead of standing upright.
Real oak also wraps the top of the cabinets: the square bullnose, 50mm by 30mm in 3050mm lengths, finishes the top of the wall units or works as a real oak kitchen pelmet below them. For islands, there is a 1200 x 685mm island panel, plus a 2400 x 910mm oak veneer breakfast bar panel with a horizontal grain for a full seating side. Where two runs meet, the slim 715 x 147mm door works as a corner post. Each piece can be bought separately, with Aspin Collins delivering them alongside your doors and drawer fronts anywhere in the UK.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Is the Oak Veneer Slab bullnose real oak?
Yes. The Oak Veneer Slab square bullnose is finished in real oak veneer to match the doors. It measures 50 x 30mm and comes in 3050mm lengths.
2. Does the Oak Veneer Slab plinth have a horizontal grain?
Yes. The 2800mm Oak Veneer Slab plinth has a horizontal grain, so it follows the line of the base units in the same way as the breakfast bar panel.
3. Does Oak Veneer Slab vary in colour from panel to panel?
Slightly, yes. Oak Veneer Slab panels are real timber, so natural grain and shade vary between pieces, just as they do on the doors.
4. Is there a 2350mm Oak Veneer Slab panel for tall units?
Yes. The 2350 x 650mm Oak Veneer Slab tall end panel covers the full height of a larder or appliance housing in real oak veneer.
5. How is an Oak Veneer Slab corner finished without a post?
Fit the 715 x 147mm Oak Veneer Slab door where two runs meet. It works as a corner post and keeps the real oak finish continuous.
6. Can I clad a peninsula in Oak Veneer Slab?
Yes. The 2400 x 910mm Oak Veneer Slab breakfast bar panel covers the seating side of a peninsula, and the 1200 x 685mm panel suits a smaller island end.
